The Body as a Whole

Knowledge IS "what we do"

It’s not just the techniques that “we do” but we are recognized by how we integrate education, practice and research in being able to diagnose and intervene with all systems. The Movement System is the core construct of our body of knowledge. Too many Physical Therapists look at the patient by symptom or through the blinders of their particular specialty area. Cumberland Physical Therapy looks at the patient as a whole of anatomical structures and physiological functions that interact to move the component parts of “movement”.
